Went on a short trip this evening. Had some serious angst about tomorrow, when I go to the university in Uppsala, and the first seminar. Read “Kompendiet som Gud glömde” today. Not that fun at all… Well, have to sleep, gonna drive about 700 km tomorrow. Here are a couple of pics from earlier (I was actually filming most of the time. But have to edit that a little bit before I upload it):

Epic day at Lungsjöån
(English below)
Tack). Höjt
ENGLISH:
Went to Lungsjöån yesterday. Have been on my way for a couple of years, but never went. I’m glad we did! It’s trout and steelhead trout (I think they’re called), both natural and unnatural. The fishing was not that easy as I though though, so it was sweet!
Should do some work now…
- We came to Hasses cabin close to Lungjöån pretty late thursday. We did the most important stuff before we went to bed – made a big fire, drank some whisky, and watched some episodes of “Fishing trip with Lars and Bård”, to get the right motivation.
- To not get tempted to do any untrue fishing, we payed special attention to the chapter where they are fishing with streamer. They get a fish, but of course – only feel bad about it.
- Baaad…
- “Fishing with a streamer is as if Bjorn Dahlie (famous norwegian cross country skier) would compete in the 50 km with a snowmobile!”
- “It was this big. Between the eyes!” Hans immediately started lying to our guide. I was worried…
- We all became friends pretty soon though, as we discovered that Jonas is an old local shredder, and knew many of Hans’ snowboard friends!
- “Yes, you can choose for me, big fishing guide.”
- Beautiful river!
- Not tight enough…
- Coffe on a fishing trip is a little bit more important than the rod. Not that much though.
- Hans trying to catch a bastard that was chilling under some trees.
- Yes Hansiii!!!
- He went back to his friends.
- If you catch a fish – you get a zip from the bottle.
- New reel. Yes!
- I’m coming back to this river. For sure!
- Met some other dudes that were fishing too. They were good fishermen I think, but also probably the loudest fishermen I’ve ever heard, so we tried to stay away.
- Sweet…
- Hans looking for fish…
- …and doing a blood knot.
- Fish!
- “Let me go home.” “Ok.”
- And Hans got one more whisky!
- I got a snapped line. Still happy though!
- After snapped line numer two, in about ten minutes. I… was still happy. But a little bummed for the fish. Not his fault. We went home. Hans got drunk, and I went to sleep.

YES! And no…
(English below)
YES: Ok.
Men fan…
ENGLISH:
YES: Don’t know if Danielsson Fly Reels are famous all over the world, but I’m super stoked on my new reel, that’s for sure! The people at the factory were super friendly, and… All good! Carl gave me some coffe and some quick tips. Hope to fish with him soon.
NO: Then I went straight to the University here in Uppsala, and started my new course. Not really that stoked on school as on fishing. But I guess it’s good. I can get some kind of degree after this term. Feels wierd…

Tentlife
(English below)
ENGLISH:
Well, I wrote a little bit of crap in Swedish, and I think I’ll spare you that. The pictures below are from a trip me, Bea and a couple of friends went on in the Swedish ”mountains”. It was nice, but pretty cold. Read the captions, that explains the trip. One fun thing though – it was pretty cool to walk around in mountains I have been heliskiing and filming in a couple of times. They look far more scary in summertime…

Sorry…
…for not writing anything here. I guess it’s just because I’ve been busy with stuff that doesn’t involve computers and Internet. And I guess that’s good!
First it was Dansbandsveckan – this… moonshine mayhem. It was fun, as usual, and Red Neck Rumble was a success!
Then I went to Trondheim to fish some salmon. Was a sweet week with Pôjkon!
Then, it was some mord fishing. Visited Saxnäs and got some nice trouts with starving Mason.
Last week have been one wedding in Stockholm (beautiful Jon and Mia got married), and then some vacation with Bea, wich is still going on for a little bit more than one week.
In other words – good times for Johan Jonsson. I will do some work the next days though, otherwise I’ll get too much behind…
Pictures:
1. Dansken got the golden ticket.
2. Ajjemään! Ha ha!
3. Trondheim.
4. Starving Mason.
5. “Selen”. Beautiful.

The Monster Blog
No, I have not signed with any energy drink company, nor am I gonna do a blog about monsters. But I will do a big blog!
I haven’t done a proper update since June, but if you click the pics, and read the captions, you will know what I have done.
If you’re reading my blog at freeride.se, I suggest you read it here instead. Looks better.
- Suddenly, one day, when I came to my parents place. I saw this bird. I guess it had killed itself flying into the kitchen window. I took it as a sign. Of what? I don’t know…
- Any how – I went fishing. Bjurs in God’s belly boat.
- Super stoked with a nice trout. Close to Malung.
- It went back.
- Pretty nice evening with the boys.
- God’s son got two, and showed us how to fish.
- Streaking Caddis.
- Die Döle, starring in “Double Grill”.
- Then, one afternoon, I felt I had to go a bit more far up in the north on a bigger fishing trip, with some new people. It started out with a mean hike it hot weather.
- The mosquitoes and gnats gave us a warm welcome…
- Surroundings were nice though, even if the fishing in that river seems to have been destroyed by “those we don’t speak of” (blinker- and worm fishermen).
- Help…
- Camplife breakfast with a stick. Nice place. Nice weather. Nice people. The only thing missing was good fishing…
- I like the sky…
- When my friends drove home, I went into the wild on my own. Never been camping on my own before, but it was pretty cool. Could do whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted. This is a place I passed on the way out to a river I wanted to try.
- Passed a deserted camp from the days when the reindeer watchers lived in the forest. Saw this phone. Kind of spooky…
- I walked for a couple of hours, then I passed this spot, and said to myself: “Nice place.” So here’s where I slept.
- Don’t know what the international rules of safe camping tells you about making a fire inside the tent, but… the mosquitoes were killing me goddammit! And I had to cook!
- Sometimes… When I sleep kind of bad, I get just a liiittle bit morning swollen. Ha ha ha!
- It was raining a bit, so I listened to a couple of documentaries.
- Then I went on a ten hour hike. Kind of tired when I got back, cause I forgot to bring food. But since I had this exclusive dinner when I got back, it was no problem!
- Passed that abandoned camp on the way back later. And… Hate to admit it, but I’m pretty fuckin afraid of the dark. It was like one hour back to the car, and by the time I got there, I was…
- …about this scared.
- The next day I went to check out some rivers close to the road, and it was actually not that bad. Actually… best. Just because there are things far away, doesn’t mean that the close stuff is bad. The fish were eating these ones. Ephemera Danica, they are called. I think…
- Pretty sweet view…
- Got one ok trout.
- As I said, I like the sky…
- Two different skies this evening. Both beautiful…
- This is a sky I’d rather don’t see though. A gull up in the mountains, far far away from the sea. It felt bad. We’re fucking up this planet…
- Had a big hike the last day. Kind of hard with the fishing, but a nice 13 hour walk, and the beer I’m drinking on this picture did not taste bad at all, I tell you that.
- Beer and coffee over the fire. Love.
- Pretty sweet…
- Small brake.
- That evening I went to Östersund and slept at my friend The Yellow Banc Man. Day after I went for a quick swim with Steffe, Mosse, Hampus and his girlfriend. It was nice.
- Then I went to Malung, and had a nice weekend with Bea. And I claim this to be a really good cell phone pic.
- Sausage lunch after Bea did “Vansbrosimningen”.
- Tough sunday at our summer house.
- Tough sunday at our summer house.
- Tough sunday at our summer house.
- Tough sunday at our summer house.
- And then! I went to some kind of reunion with the people I went to ski academy with, more than ten years ago. We made up our own decathlon (tiokamp). Here’s Pollack doing the bow thing.
- Later at the evening, it was the fishing think. In the background you see Gunde Svan’s house. Pretty nice evening…
- We hardly drank anything at all. Micke just tasted a little bit…
- The day after hardly drinking anything at all… kind of… I was tired…
- Morgan starring in “Hard to start up again”.
- Möller in the axe thing.
- Stick-golf. Sounded geeky, but was so fun!
- This is the last picture from the socond evening. Can’t remember what’s happening, but I think I started behaving very tired here. I guess Morgan and Micke is trying to take that bottle of Jack from me. Thanks guys. (Today is four days after this picture, and the first day I’m not hung over…)
- Went to Malung again, and found out that the fishing master was in town. So… We wen’t out to see if we could find a sweet creek in the forest a bit north of Malung. Looking… Looking… Found it!
- This is so wierd… In the middle of the forest, we found this mouse. You want the macro now? Ok, I give you macro.
- With a stick through its head. How the hell did that happen? Can some one please tell me?
- Ågren likes beer.
- Bye.
