Hokkaidos hardest landing

(English below).

Körde två åk i Niseko Village’s skidområde.

ENGLISH:

Today we were searching for Hokkaidos hardest landing. Or… We tried not to, but as the snow got warmer during the day, I think we were pretty close to finding it. At least Adam was.

We had the alarm set on 04.59 and went on the first catskiing mission at 06.00. Har a few runs in Niseko Village’s nice ski area. Was at bit tracked, but apart from that fun! Thanks Tomoko at Niseko Village and Clayton at BlackDiamond Lodge for hooking us up!

After that we went to NSA for the second cat mission. Nick Gutry (who is now officially my favourite cat driver) took good care of us, and showed us some sick terrain! Unfortunately the snow got a bit warm during the day. But that didn’t stop us (didn’t stop Adam) from spinning off a big pillow into what could be Hokkaidos hardest landing today. Thanks Glen Claydon for shooting and fixing today!

Tomorrow the search will go on!

Here’s some pics from today:

"Could have been in bed. But now I had to bring these lame ass Swedes up on the mountain instead. Bummer..."

Adam found a clothing friend with a popped shoulder, and a small sled.

Skis on the cat instead of the shoulder. Sweet...

Second cat for the day. Thumbs up!

Thumbs up!

Nick. Thank you for bringing us here. So sweet...

Adam, a tenth of a second before the grab.

Adam, a tenth of a second before falling apart from hiking.

"Panorama Ninja"-Claydon and "Über cat driver"-Gutry.

Nick Gutry. Über cat driver de luxe, and super cool guy.

We thought we had seen white bread in Sweden, but we had not. Today, I accidently dropped a sandwich in the snow, and it was impossible to find it! Amazing...
