FKPG Terror Squad

Came down to my sisters family, a.k.a. FKPG Terror Squad, in Falköping yesterday. They’re not that terror any more though, so it’s almost disappointing. But a bit calmer. Been a good day today, hanging out with some animals, and some kids. Family life. Shot some more with my Panasonic GH3, and tried the 35-100 (70-200 in 35 mm) lens. Stoked! Here are some speed-edited photos from today:

Trying the GH3

Some random photos from today, trying my new Panasonic GH3. Pretty sick camera. All shots are in higher ISO. And I’m not a photoshop wizard. No, wait, I don’t even use photoshop. Ha ha. It’s the 12-35 2,8 lens.

A week of shitfuck

On the way back to home-home now – Malung and Dalarna. Bynn. Feels very good. Had a blast the last week, but it’s been pretty tiring both mentally and phisically to try to work in shitfuck conditions. But… we tried our best, me and The Glass Blower, and hopefully we can come up with something different at least.

Gonna be at home for a week or so, but I’m ultra motivated to ski, so hope to drive down in a week or so!

Here are some photos from yesterday.

Big Engelberg photo blog

Don’t know if I should write that much. Look at the pictures instead, and click them for captions if you’re reading at Freeride.se.

But well… I’ve been in Engelberg a while now, and the conditions are pretty horrible. But it’s fun!

New toys for stoke are first of all a Panasonic GH3. Pretty amazing little thing… I normally shoot with the LX7, cause it fits in my pocket, but have been trying the GH3 some now. Really cool cam. For shooting, but even better for filming.

Also stoked on… all new gear! Ha ha. Fun with the Blizzard Cochise, cause they’re so solid in these conditions. Ah… I’ll write more later. Here are some pics:

Engelberg hard pack shred

Well… Not the easiest of conditions now in Engelberg. Still having a blast though! Today I was shredding with birthday boy Wille Lindberg. Good times! But my back is sore. Some iPhone shots:

Didn’t bring much from Sweden. Just the most important.

Been using this a while now. One word: wow.

Takes a little time to get the shins back to ski mode. Be they’re weak.

Sunsets… Like them.

Rocky take off, rocky landing, bad light, can’t fall, bad snow. But fun!

Wille tail pressing to some air time. Good fun!

And today ended up with me getting the VERY prestigious “Rider of the day”award at Ski Lodge. I “unnade” myself a beer.

Glad Lucia from Alpinkultur and E’Dollo!

Glad Lucia! As we say in Sweden. Henrik Harlaut is our main object in the next issue of Alpinkultur, dropping in a few days. Other things to look forward to:

– Interview with Emma Dahlström.

– Gallery with four generations (even if the picture below says three, we give you a bonus!)

– Big story from Krasnaya Polyana, with shots from Christian Pondella and Mattias Fredriksson.

– Interview AND PODCAST with Reine Barkered.

– Coffee test (very important).

– 176 km/h on one leg.

– Instabangers with Mattias Hargin.

– Gallery with Gösta Fries.

– And more goddammit!

Full on

Long working days now. Alpinkultur #3 in the making, and lots of other plans that need to be finalized before I’m leaving for Engelberg in a few days. Fun, but… too much at the moment.

Had a small meeting with Petter after lunch. Good dude!

Then went for some panic planning with my AK colleagues. This was dinner.

Gym

Going to the gym sucks. But… it’s good for staying healthy through the season, for sure. Deep front squats is one of my favorites. You can’t lift as heavy as normal squats, but it’s good/heavy for the back to do them proper.

Deep is good.

New POC and Lemmel gear. And coffee!

When I came back from Engelberg, I had a couple of boxed to pick up. Both made me happy! It was a some awesome helmets and armor from POC, and a couple of t-shirts, coffee and lots of love from Lemmel Kaffe. Lovely! Made my weekend.

Last day in Engelberg

Was really lucky and went up with Daniel Furberg today. We got some unexpected pow. Happy for that!

Now I’m on the airport, and will hopefully fly home soon. Seems like the weather in Stockholm ain’t too good, so I guess we’ll see…

Can you spot Daniel? It wasn't super deep, but soft and fast. I actually prefer that...

Bye bye Laub... See you in a week hopefully!

Always miss the mountains when I'm not there. But gonna be good to get home to Höjden too. It's gonna be a lot of work to get the next Alpinkultur ready, but hope to get some time off for climbing and chilling and eating too.

Gonna carry this turn with me home for the coming week though. Some comfort in the computer jungle... Thanks for the photo Daniel.
