When I came back from Engelberg, I had a couple of boxed to pick up. Both made me happy! It was a some awesome helmets and armor from POC, and a couple of t-shirts, coffee and lots of love from Lemmel Kaffe. Lovely! Made my weekend.
Back in Stockholm now, after a nightmare trip back from France. Had a nice weekend in Dalarna after that though. Check out some iPhone shots of new gear and classic Swedish midsummer:
Went biking, with new POC shades. Perfect for biking, and fishing! They’re polarized, of course.
AND! New shoes from Addnature. Sweden’s best and biggest online store for… Almost everything that has something to do with the outdoors. I really liked these shoes. Thought they were gonna be “less performing” than my old bike shoes. But they’re actually really stiff and good! With SPD. Sweet!
They didn’t help me up this tricky bugger though. Super stoked on my new Canyon 29:er, but not even that took me up. Today maybe!
When I got a new bike and became a bike-nerd a couple of months ago, I quickly realized I needed to figure some stuff out. My friend Tobias, editor of Åka Skidor Magazine, and a member of the famous Åre Berscyklister, sent me a mail where he told me he was very happy I finally had become a biker! But he also, very kind though, told me that if I didn’t want to look like a complete idiot, I had to change gloves (since this bike-thing is a bit new to me, I didn’t knew that half finger gloves was totally forbidden unless you’re mega race, but apparently it is), and get a new helmet (my latest model bike wear from The North Face was looking good though, lucky me). Since I’m a sissie, I did as told. Tobias said that he had a POC Trabec, because it was pretty much the best and most stylish helmet around. And… now I got a box from POC!
